Most birders like to watch birds with abnormal plumage. Of course, it is mainly the rare plumage differences (leucism, melanism, albinism) that excite the majority of people. 🐦
I know a user on Twitter who is especially excited about these birds. He’s Dave Roberts, who also marks these birds with a separate hashtag, so anyone can easily find and browse through these interesting pictures and information. So I recommend using the #TheFeatherAnomalyCup hashtag if you share a photo of a bird with abnormal plumage on Twitter! 😉
